This is an introductory course that leads to a Computer Systems Servicing National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers seven (7) common competencies that a student ought to possess: 1) application of quality standards, 2) computer operations; 3) performing mensuration and calculation; 4) preparation and interpretation of technical drawing; 5) the use of hand tools; 6) terminating and connecting electrical wiring and electronics circuits; and 7) testing electronics components; and four (4) core competencies, namely, 1) installing and configuring computer systems, 2.) setting up computer networks, 3) setting up computer servers, and 4) maintaining and repairing computer systems and networks.

Welcome to the MAPEH (Health) – Grade 9 Self-Learning Module (SLM) on Community Health Problems! The hand is one of the most symbolized part of the human body. It is often used to depict skill, action, and purpose. Through our hands we may learn, create and accomplish. Hence, the hand in this learning resource signifies that you as a learner is capable and empowered to successfully achieve the relevant competencies and skills at your own pace and time. Your academic success lies in your own hands! This module was designed to provide you with fun and meaningful opportunities for guided and independent learning at your own pace and time. You will be enabled to process the contents of the learning resource while being an active learner.

This is an exploratory and introductory course that leads to a Plumbing National Certificate I (NC I). It focuses on the core competencies that a high
school student ought to possess: (1) preparing pipes, tools, and equipment for installation; and (2) cutting and threading ferrous pipes.

This learning area is designed to provide a general background for the understanding of the Earth on a planetary scale.  It presents the history of the Earth through geologic time.  It discusses the Earth’s structure and composition, the processes that occur beneath and on the Earth’s surface, as well as issues, concerns, and problems pertaining to Earth’s resources. 

The development of listening and speaking skills and strategies for effective communication in various situations.

Information and communication technologies as a tool for curating, contextualizing, collaborating, and creating content and experiences for learning in the professional tracks.

Grade 10 Curriculum

Food and Beverage Services NC II is a technical-vocational program that trains students on the preparation of food plans and meals for restaurants, hotels, canteens, banquets and functions, and basically any establishment that serves food to a large number of people. The program teaches students how to properly welcome guests and take food and beverage orders, promote food and beverage products and provide food and beverage service to guests.

The COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that must possess to enable to install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer systems and networks.

The Welding NC I (SMAW) Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to weld carbon steel plates components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using SMAW welding equipment.

The Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment and systems where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts in residential houses/buildings
